I don't think that depends on tftp-hpa. I had the same thing with my Indy,
while using (a combination of) hubs. Collisions is what happened. Maybe
that has something to do with it. on what platform is the tftp-server
running? If it's linux, don't forget to do:

echo "1" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_no_pmtu_disc

maybe that helps...
