[syslinux] SYSLINUX: Cannot read ldlinux.sys

After you get the error, try doing a "dir /ah" at the DOS prompt. If you 
see a ldlinux.sys with 0 bytes, then it is exactly the same issue I had. 
I used FreeDOS. I couldn't find a solution so I moved to ISOLINUX. In 
you case, you probably dont have that option.
