Hello,

Can anyone help me?

Does any of you manage to load (boot) Bootitng through CDShell?

How can I ensure that diskemu emulates a 1.44MB floppy?

Any ideas?

Thank you

Andreas Gortsilas

You need to make sure it's emulating a 1.44MB floppy.

What's you'd probably really want to do is use diskemu with diskimg3.dat ...

In the cdshell.ini I have the following line (first thing in the script)...

  Memdisk /_modules/bootitng.iso

The iso file is the one created by the bootitng..

In boot (through vmware)... starts loading image... and after a few lines
(the last one is "loading boot sector... boting...") a dialog windows of
vmware pop-up:

"VMWare Workstation internal monitor error...

This virtual machine has tried to execute an invalid part of memory...."

What is the specific problem you have?

You can create an ISO directly by using the bootitng.exe or makedisk.exe
programs.

The emulation is 1.44MB floppy diskette.

Sorry for my not so good English...

I do not have problem boot from the BootItNG cd... Not at all...

My problem is when I must create an image file of the BootitNG in order to
put it inside the boot cd made by CDShell and with a command (memisk,
diskemu, isolinux: CDShell commands) if a user select it then boot from this
image...

"It was not possible until now ..." implies that you were able to do it....
But I assume you're saying you couldn't do it?

I'd suggest just making the .ISO. From there it should be able to burn it
via its own session - the BIOS or some resident code provides the
interface/emulation to make the CD area look like a floppy diskette.
