I have booted the FreeBSD Multiboot kernel with mboot.c32 (although not
recently -- but mboot.c32 hasn't really changed recently, either.) As
far as I know, there are two kernel formats used by FreeBSD - the older
format (a.out?) and Multiboot; obviously the Multiboot kernel is needed
here.
