The 3.8x series is much more aggressive at retransmitting when it
doesn't get a reply.  Perhaps it is too aggressive with respect to the
RRQ, but that should normally only cause a stale connection which should
eventually time out (not impeding the progress of the actual
transmissions).  Furthermore, it should not affect a download already in
progress.

If this is something that has been addressed in the later versions of
tftpd32, I'm not all that interested in addressing it.
