Peter,
Hope the disk image helped. Just tried 1.74 and it boots without
reporting the invalid/corrupt kernel. As noted in your release
information for 1.74(the "slow" issue), I still have to use the "-s"
to get around this. For now, I'm up, and that's what counts.
