[syslinux] small question regarding syslinux

GIMP should be able to save it as PPM directly.  If you want to use an
intermediate format I would recommend PNG; especially since I'm
seriously considering rewriting the utility as a C program using libpng
(which would make it pngtolss16, of course.)
