Well, I can't see what partitions you have on your System.
Normally debian will need its own partition. Then you wouldn't need to
use Syslinux, but you could use LiLo or any other Linux loader.

If you only have one Partition I think you are out of luck. Perhaps you
would be able to use an Image file for your rootfs by using an initrd.
That could be realized by using the WinXP boot menu for booting Syslinux
~ for booting a Kernel with an initrd.
That would of course be far from a "standard" Debian installation. Just
give it some Partition Space on your drive. Thats easier.
