Hello...

Look into the List archives. Some time ago there was one who wanted to
do the same thing. I don't know if he succeeded to boot Win98, but the
Memdisk-Diskimage aspect of the problem was discussed more than once in
the list.

What error with the master boot record? Wrong partitioning? Win98 might
only be able to run in dos compatibility mode, because memdisk is a
realmode driver (Am I right, hpa?)

What do you mean with "... an error out of linux"? Do you think that
linux causes your problem? Or are you saying that you might be off-topic?
