[syslinux] where is kernel and initrd?

Hello,

kernel.img is a linux kernel (build from sources by you, or use one which fit your needs)
you probably should not name it kernel.img, since .img has a special meaning for syslinux

initrd.gz in a compressed filesystem. Have a look at /usr/src/linux/Documentation/{ramdisk,initrd}.txt
For more information about that.

If you don't know what is a kernel nor a ramdisk, i'm afraid you are wasting your time.
