[syslinux] isolinux booting problem

Please try again with Knoppix 3.6 instead. Released a week ago.
Hopefully it uses Syslinux v2.11, but who knows.
Please mail computer details to the list:
*mainboard manufacturer and type,
*BIOS version/revision,
*CD/DVD drive in which you insert Knoppix, and interface (IDE/Atapi probably)

mr HPA, the Syslinux (and thus ISOLINUX) author might be able to help you then.
Otherwise, complain to your manufacturer.

You can test if the following cd loads ok:
http://fdos.org/ripcord/beta9-final/test/fdbootcd.zip [1.0 MB]

burn it as an image TO cd (NOT as a file ON the cd), and boot from it.
I'm pretty sure this contains the 2.11 (latest) version of ISOLINUX.
