[syslinux] Kind of OT: Question about power button

Hi,

Sorry to go off topic, but I'm not sure where exactly to ask.

I'm booting off the network via pxelinux (running on one of those VIA EPIA boards). Sometimes, the computer just *stalls* ... it doesn't respond to the keyboard, you can't telnet in, etc. I can't even reset or turn of the computer via the ATX buttons. I don't think I have any funny ACPI or power management thing going on (how can I check for sure?) Any ideas on what would cause the system to ignore the power button?

(I'm running on a 2.4.20 kernel, but I can't remember what I built into it :P)
