[syslinux] FCR1: Syslinux boot disk after Kernel Update

Is this procedure documented on Syslinux website in this terms or is it 
rather "How do I create a bootable floppy"?
Moreover, since I boot always the old kernel (the new has been installed 
already as of rpm), how can I make sure I copy the new one to fd0 ?
