[syslinux] latest ISOLINUX on LG laptop

Hi Guys,
I'm having a problem with isolinux on one of LG's latest laptops, the LM50.
Basically the units boot to the CD, give the boot prompt as expected, but it appears to be followed by a large number of spaces (255?)
This happens on all LM50's that I have seen, even with the newest BIOS upgrade.
I thought it might be related to the boot background I had set up, but I removed this and it is the same.
Older versions of ISOLINUX work (I have an older CD but I do not remember what version of ISOLINUX was on it - perhaps a year ago).
Has anyone experienced similar faults, or know of a way to find out if this is a BIOS bug or an ISOLINUX bug?
Thanks,

Daniel
