Gentoo includes a syslinux package in there somewhere.  Thing is,
Gentoo doesn't really count.  You have to manually install whatever
you're going to use anyway.  My point was that I've yet to see a
semi-automated installer, such as like what Mandriva uses which has
even an option to select Syslinux instead of lilo or grub.  Actually,
I didn't really mean there isn't any, just that I've never seen one.
