Yes, I have tried 3.07 yesterday. I made a 2.88M image using syslinux and
includes vmlinuz and initrd.
The image could boot standalone. Then use grub+memdisk+image, boot vmlinuz
only (no initrd), kernel starts ok. If boot vmlinuz + initrd,
vmlinuz...........
initrd.........

then hangs.
retry syslinux 3.02 , ok.
