[syslinux] ISOLINUX fails at boot on Award BIOS v6.00PG

hello..I read thsi article..and probably too late. I had prblems with my motherboard fro awhile..had tried everything but update the bios. I have a biostar U86668D-v5. it had award bios version6. I went to their website and got the update..loaded it to a floppy and went in and loaded the upgrade...wham...no more nothing. I have reset the cmos jumper..unplugged everything on th board and back.. I am sure it is gone. what do you think? David
