[syslinux] complex menu background "configuration"

hy there,

i'd like to change the default background from the complex menu (the
different colored bars) to default black and integrate an ANSI version
of our university's logo. I tried to figure out the parameters from
complex.c and menu.h but failed.

I would very much appreciate for any hints about important variables and
places to start
the changements!
