[syslinux] pxelinux 3.09 LOCALBOOT does not work (v3.07 does)

the flaw enters somewhere between 3.09-pre1 and 3.09-pre2. Maybe
in relation to the NEWS line
"        * <BEL> (Ctrl-G) in message files now causes a beep."

I never entered a "CTRL-G" anywhere on purpose.
