[syslinux] menu.c32 - just loads itself

hail 2the king of syslinux!

i created a simple menu by menu.c32. it displays the labes correct,
but by pressing return, it just loads the menu.c32 itself. over and
over ..

here my syslinux.cfg:

DEFAULT menu.c32
PROMPT 0

LABEL DOS
        KERNEL memdisk
        APPEND initrd=floppy.img
LABEL windows98
        KERNEL memdisk
        APPEND initrd=win98.img

i hope u can help me by pointing a configuration mistake!
