At least with a linux-host it works. On a linux system USB Mass-Storage
devices appear as SCSI devices.

With VMware you can then define a new virtual SCSI disk and assign it in
"physical device" mode to the new SCSI device.
Just remember that you have to redefine the virtual disk whenever you
switch to a different USB key (even the same size/brand).

Hello,

I saw your post regarding [syslinux] SYSLINUX and USB keys at
http://syslinux.zytor.com/archives/2004-December/004239.html

Do you happen to know the answer of how to make VMWare load
from USB?

Thanks in advance,
Alex.
