1. rename memtest86.bin to memtest86
2. you can use it as kernel so:

 KERNEL memtest86

memtest doesnt work to (86 and 86+)
I have tried it with
KERNEL memdisk
APPEND initrd=memtest86.bin

but it repeats all over the time 8000 on screen...
