Hello,

we have a problem with pxelinux and a specific hardware.

In short:
PXE starts, get and start the pxelinux.0 but can't get the configuration file.

This problem belongs only to one new client.
Other clients work in this environment with out any problem.

The client is a HP xw4300 with the networkcard:
------------
vendor = "Broadcom Corporation"
name = "NetXtreme BCM5752 Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express"
subsystemvendor = "Hewlett-Packard Company"
------------
the HD-Controller is:
"82801GR/GH (ICH7 Family) Serial ATA Storage Controller AHCI"
It was reported, that this client worked before some
(not documented) changes at the BIOS belonging to the SATA / IDE Emulation mode.

The startup messages are:
------------
HP UNDI PXE-2.1 v8.1.55
(c) (....)
(c) (....)
HP Base Code PXE-2.1 v1.0.4

(.....)
PXELINUX 2.06 2003-08-22 (c) (....)

TFTP prefix: /tftpboot/linux/
Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/01-00-18-71-7c-b1-02

The requestet file exists and is world readable.

This is the part of the syslog (running atftd with verbose=7)

Yes, we got the same result with an actual pxelinux.0.

Any Idea, any known Problems with this Hardware ?

thanks in advance
