I assume what you want is something like:

Goto main menu
if (timeout == true)
    run cmd 1
fi
if (user-select == option x )
    goto menu y
    if (timeout == true)
        return to main menu
        Do nothing
    fi
fi
    
As far as i am aware it is not possible..
