[syslinux] MAXMENUS limitation

Greetings,

I am grateful that I have been able to use the list archive
functionality to find the answer to my recent problem.

However, I am curious if there is a particular reason to have such a low
limit (10 menus) as the default in the code?  It was very, very
confusing to figure out why my menu was being so garbled.
