[syslinux] Syslinux: Broken file reading for fat16 with 3.35+?

Yes indeed, thats the problem. can't believe i missed that completely.

Peter, the answer is, extlinux works just fine with all versions. I
gave it a shot with both 3.32 and 3.35. Only syslinux is broken
starting 3.35-pre1.
