I really would need to pick things apart to know how those even behave. 
  It isn't really all that clear how such a thing should behave, mostly 
because the only ones that have actually tried it over the years are MO 
drive vendors; everyone else have used 512-byte virtual sectors 
regardless of physical sector sizes (real flash media actually have 
sector sizes of 64K or larger.)
