Hi,

I have successfuly use PXElinux to boot a diskless workstations from two 3COM NICs.  I had to do as you suggested and upgrade them both to 3COM's MBA v4.30.  After, flashing the bootproms - no problems at all!

just for your info:  The B card has a optional bootprom chip that you must purchaced and installed on the NIC
The C card come with the bootprom as part of the NIC
