I have to admit that I don't understand the output of "dmidecode".
Having a closer look at dmidecode, I think that only

  dmidecode --type bios

is usefull for this mailinglist.

Some addition to the update of the BIOS:

  The important part to update is the network boot code, (the "PXE part")
  so an update the "core BIOS" can be avoided.
