[syslinux] extlinux: missing text on serial output

No, it does not.  syslinux-3.70-pre10 works, though.  I'll try
bisecting this, but that will take some time...  Can you perhaps
suggest to way to speed up compilation (restricting it to extlinux and
com32 only)?
