Hmm,

I've looked in the header file but I couldn't find some info to get me going
on debugging.
Is there any more info here or could somebody assist me in this?

Microsoft at no cost, you only need a Windows pc to be able to run it, so
pretty much everyone could test it with menu.c32/vesamenu.c32.

Usually the easiest way to debug is to enable debugging statements over
the (virtual) serial port, and try to debug() all you can think of. See
com32/lib/sys/vesa/debug.h.
