Think of a boot disk.
Make an image of the boot disk, p.e. with "dd".
syslinux.cfg
# --------------
label bootdisk
kernel memdisk
append bootdisk.img
# --------------
The file "memdisk" is part of the "syslinux package.
Viele Gruesse!
