"dmidecode" gives you that information.

"dmidecode" and "lspci" makes a good combo.  Adding /proc/cpuinfo 
doesn't hurt, of course.  I'm thinking of doing a preboot info 
collector, "boot this and send me the file that it writes to your USB 
stick", but I don't know when I'll have time ;)
