I sent you this patch privately on Monday, I  don't know if this is this 
patch that you have queued up or if you are thinking of something else. 
As long as the DEFAULT directive parsing is working, I don't really mind 
if it's done by code I have written or by code from someone else, so 
feel free to apply whichever patch feels better to you :)
