Sure, it's in http://gilix.org/hybrid.iso

It's 767MB.

I've tested it a moment ago in Ubuntu 8.04, x86_64 system, running
kernel 2.6.24-21-generic, under qemu 0.9.1 and virtualbox 2.2.0.

Same problem. Recreating the ISO in Ubuntu didn't work, also.

The command I used to create the ISO:
mkisofs -r -pad -o hybrid.iso -V 'Ubuntu 9.04 i386' \
  -b isolinux/isolinux.bin -c isolinux/boot.cat -no-emul-boot \
  -boot-load-size 4 -boot-info-table hybrid/

It contains Ubuntu 9.04 x86 and a initramfs with CentOS 5.3.

Regards,
Luciano Rocha
