Good day Agostinho,

There're a few things you could possibly try in order to wind up with a
USB stick which can boot a DOS floppy image stored on it. Since you're
having some troubles, it might be worth discovering the results of a few
tests:

- Using Windows and the HP USB Format utility to format the USB stick
with FAT32 (there are tutorials available)
- Then installing SYSLINUX to the HP-formatted partition to see if
there's any difference in your results
- Making note of the MBR geometry that the HP utility used for
comparison

OR:

- Using Windows and the HP USB Format utility
- Having DOS installed on this partition
- Running GRUB4DOS and using its "map --mem" counterpart to MEMDISK and
determining the results

If you have better luck with the HP utility, it might be interesting to
see what they do differently by comparing MBRs.
