By the way, I don't want to imply I'm not considering this a serious
issue. However, reliability is paramount, which makes this "a hard
problem" and I need to think hard about it. It's almost certainly not
going to be on the list for 3.80.
-hpa (which still remembers the nightmare caused by ARP polling
when idle...)
