[syslinux] [PATCH] isohybrid: user options

Hi,

after comparing isohybrid of 3.72 and 3.80:
Would
  $id
be another candidate for a user option ?

3.72 generates a new one unconditionally,
whereas 3.80 reads it from the System Area
of the ISO image and keeps it if not 0.
So there seems to be a meaning with $id
that is worth to be preserved.
Maybe it is worth to be user defined ?

Has an opinion emerged about the fate
of lfr's patch (with/without partition offset,
with/without "geometry") ?
