Right.

No writeable file system is going to work, long term, on any of these
"fake disk" things. If you want to use flash for a _reliable_ writeable
file system, your only option right now is to use a flash file system of
some kind _directly_ on it.

There are some upcoming devices right now which look quite promising,
but they're all quite new and I wouldn't really want to trust data to
them yet.
