Hallo, Kim,

Du meintest am 21.09.09:

That works better (thank you), but then it stops booting at the "isa0"
line. Maybe that's a special thinkpad problem - I'll test some other
machines.

Ok - no big problem.

By the way: "udpcast" works; that solves a big problem for us (cloning
many clients in schools).
Next time I'll test "FOG" (free open ghost); it's similar to udpcast.

The big advantage of this memdisk approach: no CD, no FD, no USB stick.
ok - on machines which can't boot via PXE I need the rom-o-matic FD. But
I need it only for booting, then I can take it to the next machine.

Many thanks to all people who worked and work in this area of syslinux/
pxelinux!

Viele Gruesse!
Helmut
