Thank you for the brief additional detail regarding your specific usage
of the mailing-list service and the associated needs. Your
"(chrono)logic order" appears to map points in time (the occurrence of
messages) to a top-down spatial ordering of the message contents. This
seems congruent with common English literature, and thus perfectly
natural, in my judgment.

Please also note that this particular ordering does not equate to
Universal convenience for all specific uses of the mailing-list service.

A: Question? Statements. Another question? Further statements. Yet
another question? Et cetera...

B: Yes. Ok. No. ... Sometimes.

(Is that easy to understand?)

OR:

A: Question? Statements. Another question? Further statements. Yet
another question? Et cetera...

B: In regards to [repetition of A's first question's content], the
answer is yes. In regards to your statements concerning [repetition of
A's statements], I'm ok with what you've stated. In regards to your
[repetition of A's second question's content], the answer is no. In
regards to your [repetition of A's third question's content], the answer
is sometimes.

(How exactly does this differ from inline responses?)

OR: Consider users who receive and read each message as it occurs, but
need to scroll to the bottom further and further as "bottom-posted"
messages accumulate content which the user has already read.

Thanking you for your consideration of the multiple uses of the
mailing-list service and for your attention while enduring this very
message,

- Shao Miller
