[syslinux] 100% CPU?

Hello,
I've been testing syslinux/menu.c3 and memdisk.
For my tests I've used a VM inside vmware ESXi.
I've noticed looking at the VM stats that when the VM is powered up and the menu.c32 is
loaded via TFTP the CPU goes to 100% and doesn't go down until an (any) OS is fully loaded.
Is this meant to be of perhaps a little bug?

Just a feedback, not a huge deal any ways.
