[syslinux] Trouble with Superfloppy format

Good day Sven,

My guess would be that your BIOS drives your USB storage device as an 
HDD, rather than as a superfloppy.  Perhaps your BIOS has an option to 
choose the emulation type.

What filesystem is on your USB storage device and how did you put that 
filesystem on it?
