Hi,

i have to add a little warning to this four week old thread:

The start offset of partition 1, which helped Greg Forte to boot
his machine, seems to prevent mounting of ISO 9660 images on
Apple "Snow Leopard" systems. From file and from DVD media alike.
At least this is the outcome of
  http://lists.debian.org/debian-cd/2011/04/msg00029.html
to
  http://lists.debian.org/debian-cd/2011/04/msg00062.html

Obviously i did not take notice of a message by Gene Cumm

My apologies. (Either for not replying, or for replying twice.)

Be invited to generously quote from my mails and docs.

In the special case of the xorriso command, the main part of the
code stems from Syslinux wiki anyway.
