[syslinux] syslinux 4.02 hangs at "boot:"

Now it's confusing. If Syslinux hangs right after printing "boot:",
then this stanza probably has nothing to do with the problem. What
happens without any config file? With a different default? With a
longer timeout? With other stanzas?
