My BIOS is set to boot network first, hard-disk second, all other boot
devices turned off. Is that why 'chain.c32 hd0' works for me, or is it
because I do not normally have any USB disks or memory sticks (but only
the keyboard and mouse) plugged in?

Thanks, Paul
