Long filenames is fine for some random module as renaming is always
possible. A hardcoded dependency on a module with long filenames is a
different matter however.

QEMU has such a habit with their hardcoded video bios files
(vga-cirrus.bin). Bochs luckily allows renaming of files and specifying
them in its config file.

Would you suggest to rename libutil_com.c32 (and thus the name the
menu/vesamenu modules are looking for), or let the menu modules try to
load the first module it can find among several possible names
(including a 8.3 one) ?

Are there any additional likewise cases of inter-module dependencies?

Bernd
