0) Thanks.

1) Let's assume this is the latest source of memdisk.c32 and that the
version of memdisk.c32 that Bernd uses is based on that (or is even
older, which doesn't change much).

2) This horrible URL should point to the latest version of the file
called "version" in that tree:
http://git.zytor.com/?p=users/sha0/syslinux.git;a=blob;f=version;h=c7ce9655152dba7543a2618ae2c3da54aa8441c7;hb=refs/heads/memdisk_c32

3) That file suggests that the memdisk.c32 module that Bernd uses is
syslinux 3.86 based. I think Bernd should try syslinux 3.86 with that
module. Chances are that this will get things past the "not a COM32R
image" error.
