Hallo, Gene,

Du meintest am 01.07.12:

I've used

mkisofs -r -R -joliet-long -D \
	-V ctods-v$Vers -A $Vers -copyright isolinux/copyright \
	-nobak \
	-b isolinux/isolinux.bin -c isolinux/boot.cat \
	-no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 4 -boot-info-table \
	-output /mnt/hdb4/tmp/$Ziel -v

isohybrid /mnt/hdb4/tmp/$Ziel

I'll try your options (in some hours - here it's now 6 o'clock am).

System: it's a mongrel, born about 17 years ago. Mostly based on
slackware (on that machine: mostly slackware 11.0).

It makes well working *.iso images with syslinux 4.0.5 (and older
versions).

What about the perl version: when and where needs syslinux perl for
making a working "/isolinux" directory?

Viele Gruesse!
Helmut
