[syslinux] altmbr.bin always boots the first partition

Attaching compressed image (it compresses well, so I didn't bother
minimizing it). Hopefully the mailing list will accept the archive,
but leaving your personal email for the case it won't.

You can see that byte 440 (counting from 1) in the MBR is 02, yet the
first partition is loaded (look for PARTITION-1 and PARTITION-2 in the
error messages). Using mbr_c.bin, and marking either partition as
active using sfdisk or parted works fine.
